Before joining forces with Hedgpeth Architects, Michael held his own practice for fifteen years with a focus on implementing new architectural technologies in ways that improved building performance and more generally enhanced living. Previous experience includes numerous prefabrication projects. Most notably he designed the first two "Agriboard" SIP panel buildings in California. This buildings technology replaced the traditional styrofoam core of a SIP panel with a compressed straw panel core.
Michael holds a Masters of Architecture from University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Illinois. He is a California Licensed Architect and Contractor.
