As a project manager with more than 45 years of experience in building construction and architecture, John has been a skilled team leader for architectural firms in Orlando, Phoenix, Santa Barbara and San Francisco. He is adept at research, systems coordination, construction documentation and construction administration, as well as 3D CAD, CAD management and rendering, and has brought his energy for problem solving excellence to numerous mixed use, multi-family and premium residential projects.
A native of Florida, John holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Florida and completed over 60 semester hours of graduate level coursework in architecture & business. John was a licensed General Contractor in Florida, is a LEED AP in BD&C and has completed all NCARB architectural exams.
In his early professional years, John gained grass roots experience as a superintendent and project manager for commercial and residential construction projects, as well as working in engineering firms in material testing and state permitting. His fascination with construction materials and methods and the craft of building moved him into the field of architecture, where, with his understanding of detailing and assemblies and his passion for CAD, he has played a key role in the development and execution of many complex and large-scale projects.
